Sound of Africa 2009
Saturday - April 25, 2009
This event, like others past, was enjoyable and memorable. It was a celebration of African dance, food, and culture. Lots of performances, powerpoint slides, a beautiful talk by a Nigerian lady on why children are on the streets of Africa, a call to raise funds for clean drinking water in parts of the continent. The turnout, as always, was very good. Approximately 300 people. For more pictures, visit the African Students Organization website by clicking here.
Aaron and I were in African attire
John and his wife, Gail, attended and had a good time. John and I work together.
