I'm back!!!
First, my Cameroonian sister, Dibo, and her husband Gabby just had a beautiful baby, Naseem, this September. It is such a wonderful thing because Dibo, Sahar, Claudine, and I used to sing together and hang out together in Cameroon...for many, many years. Actually, all through our eventful lives. So, through her birth, we are all "aunts" now!!! Until I can upload a picture, check out pics of baby Naseem at Sahar's blog: http://sahariabija.blogspot.com/ .
Next, my sister Claudine, just recently arrived the Holy Land, Israel, to serve at the Baha'i World Center. This is a unique experience and wonderful accomplishment for any Baha'i. And so, she is happy, and I am happy for her.
Sahar's brother, Sahba, also recently made it to the U.S to study. He is also like my younger
brother, although he is not so little. He grows like lettuce...very fast.:-)
Cellas did it!!! He tied the knot in July. Weh, my brother, more grease to your elbows. You guys look great!!!
My awesome friend and Ghanaian sister, Genevieve, and her wonderful hubby, Chris, had the cutest baby boy - Papa Ni in August.
My Auntie, Angeline, recently graduated as a Licenced Practical Nurse. She has three wonderful kids, a wonderful husband, and she worked so hard...and I am soooo proud of her. Attended her graduation...it was lovely!!
I am listing these accomplishments, not just so that I share them with you, but as a reminder to me of the great things that have happened in the last few months.
Okay, I'll be back to put up some photos.
